I met the man I married when I was 17, we married when I was 23 and I had plenty of people telling me I was too young. We’ve had seven happy years together and been married over a year, happily. It was the right time for me, for us.
I graduated university with my LLB when I was 25. If I went to a conventional university I would have graduate at 22. I made the decision that was right for me.
Basically, we’re told we have to do things by a certain age and in a certain way. We don’t. We can do things when we’re ready, make our own timelines and live a life that works for us and not the template laid out for us.
I was tossing and turning all night last night. I felt very uncomfortable and I don’t think I was ever ~fully~ asleep…My brain wouldn’t shut up and my dreams we’re all over the place and very stressful. I got up just now and am feeling very achey and sick. I hope it’s just from lack of sleep. I really don’t want to get a cold or the flu.
Today will be a short day at work which will be nice because even now, having not left the house yet, im ready to go back to bed.
